Oh Memories!

A year ago today is the day that Adam brought home our dog Jack and the day that he proposed to me and we got engaged! I have to say that I am the luckiest person to have Adam as a husband! I love him so much! I couldn't have asked for a better Husband! Here are some pictures of my Ring that Adam picked out all by himself (with the help of his mom) along with Jack :)

Adam took a Thursday and Friday off in April. He told me that he just wanted the days off but little did I know that he was getting things ready. He called me on Friday at work asking me what time I was getting off work and I told him my usually time of 5 and he told me that I should call him when I'm on my way cause "the boys" wanted to go to the movies tonight. I thought that it was kinda weird but went along with it. I got off right at 5 and called him to let him know that I was on my way. When I got home I opened my apartment door and found this little weiner dog waiting for me to get home! I picked up the dog and it had a Red envelope on it. I opened the envelope and there was a card. I opened the card and it said "Hi my name is Oscar, will you keep me Chirpy bird.... And will you marry Adam?" After I read that Adam came out of my bedroom with my ring and asked me if I would marry him. It was perfect :)

This wasn't the night we got engaged but I like this picture so I put in on here :)

Best Wife In The World! ;)

So not a lot has been going on and the Mower house hold. We are doing Fantastic and our babies.. the dogs.. Are doing great :) My little Maggie is getting so big! It makes me so sad! I wanted her to stay small for forever! She is about 2 months old now, and is almost as big as Jack! She is my little princess that is for sure :) About a month ago we had to get Adams Precious Z fixed. His Nissan 350Z. Has much as he hates telling this story I thing it is quite funny! He was pulling out of our drive way and quite nicely scrapped the passenger side of his car! We ended up finding a guy that Adam new in high school who opened up a body shop for cars and was able to fix it brand new for only $250 bucks! He was so excited cause he didn't like driving his not so beautiful Z anymore. Let's see, About a week ago I applied for a new job with Wells as a Admin Assistant for some people a different department with Wells Fargo. I had a first interview about a week ago, but haven't gotten a call for a second... It would have been an awesome job but i'm sure more things will pop up!
My Princess :)

Waking up Adam in the Morning!

Adams Lovely Scratch on his Car :)

I think that the biggest news that we have had so far for 2010 would be that Adam FINALLY got to purchase his Dream car :) He searched and searched and searched on KSL, Ebay and whatever other websites and found a 1968 Camaro SS. This has been his dream car, from what i heard from his mom, since he was a little boy. We were able to find one for sale on KSL for a pretty good deal! It has a pretty much new engine in it with only 400 miles, it has his fender flares that he LOVES, the inside is in way good conidition! He has been stressing about this car for, I would say about a month or so. Ever since he found it for sale on KSL. Me and him sat down, figured out our finances and were able to figure out that we could actually afford his Dream Car! Yes, he still has the Z but I am now learn how to drive a stick and will be driving that soon :) He is absolutly in love with this car, and i'm pretty sure for the next week i will be sleeping by myself since he will be sleeping in his car :) It is going to be interesting the people we meet. We had to stop and get gas and we had some guy who said that he built these cars come up and was talking to Adam about it! I think Adam learn a lot from him! In the same gas station we had a Cop pull up in his Dodge SUV asking us if we wanted to trade cars! I pretty sure that this is going to be an awesome car, even I am excited about it. He keeps telling me that i am the best wife in the world :) I think that I can handle that!

3 Months!

Man…. I am not very good at keeping this thing updated! Well as most of you know, Adam and I finally tied the knot!!! Lol its only been lets see….. 3 months J phew…. I am really REALLY bad. Our Wedding was absolutely Amazing! It was PERFECT! Except for the fact that I’m a dork and put Adams ring on the wrong hand! Other then that memorable opps… it went perfect! We left the reception in a limo! It was awesome! We were able to get a King Suite at the Little America for the night (thanks to our Co-workers!) and that was amazing as well J
Well after our Wedding we didn’t get much of a chance to go on a Honeymoon because we moved in to our house the following Wednesday! Thanks to Adams boss we were able to get away for a couple of days to a Condo that him and his wife had rented up in Eden called Moose Hollow! It was the coolest, nice place ever! It was so nice to just go up there and not do anything and just relax and watch TV and movies!
After our “honeymoon” we drove back down to Salt Lake Tuesday night because we had to sign the very last papers for our House! Once we signed those were spent one last night at my apartment to walk up bright and early the next to start loading things into the Uhal!! We had the biggest Uhal they had and we filled it full! Ok, I should say that I filled it full of my stuff! I should have taken a picture but I totally forgot! Oh well J Well we had everything moved in by Wednesday but me being the Girl that I am, I wanted to paint before we put anything away or set anything up. We spent the next 3 or 4 days painting the WHOLE house. We painted the Kitchen, Front Room, Hall Way, Spare bedroom, Bathroom and the Master Bedroom! The only thing that we didn’t paint was the downstairs living room. We lived out of a suitcase in our own house for a think a week! It was the best bonding experience a newly wed couple could have! ;) It was actually a lot of fun and we had A LOT of help. Adam even admits that he is glad that we painted!
Well after painting the whole house, buying some new couches and a new TV (which is Adams favorite thing in the whole house) We were finally starting to make our “house” a Home. I got the bathroom decorated and I’ve start to put things away. Well while Adam was sitting down in the basement playing his Xbox on his New TV he decided that since the whole house was amazing we needed to paint the downstairs. Mind you, the downstairs had a wood paneled wall and was just plan white. Well we decided that we didn’t like that wall anymore so we started to take it down. Little did we know that it was a MUCH bigger project then we thought. I think that the owners before us must of finished the basement because the wood panels were nailed BEHIND the base boards and the carpet was after the base boards. So to get to the wood paneling we had to take the base boards off. Well it wouldn’t have been that big of a deal because we could just go to Lowes and find the same Baseboards, but guess what? They didn’t have it! So we had to take all the base boards and the wood around all the doors off and replace all of them so that they would match! Phew. After that fun adventure we finally got that done! And we LOVE it.
That seems to be all that has happened in the last 3 months! It has been a lot but SO much fun and a nice challenge for newly weds. here are some pictures of the house as we are painting it. I don't have things decorate yet to show you the finish work but I'm getting there slowly. And once I have it all finished I will post pictures! I will try and keep this update more also! Wish me luck!
